Internet Bargain Shopping
In my last article I compared bargain shopping on the internet to bargain shopping in a few stores and the mall. I was writing from a real life experience that I’d like to share with you now.
I really did buy a camera online lately. The process was simple, but just a little different from my hypothetical process I discussed in my last article. Because I was traveling overseas my main criteria was small size, least 3 mega pixel resolutions, and long lasting batteries. I looked up cameras that fit my most important specification on my favorite search and printed out the spec sheets. I went down to the store and tried the cameras out. I then came home and actually did my internet bargain shopping. I searched for the cameras I liked in the store and ended up saving about one hundred dollars using either buy.com or amazon.com.
In my last article I talked about doing the whole internet shopping experience without ever leaving the comfort of my home. In my real life experience I did drive down to the store one time. One thing internet shopping won’t give you is the touch it-feel it experience many of us have to have before we buy. Going to the store gave me the in-my-hands feel I needed before I could buy. But, by starting off my internet bargain shopping process by first researching the cameras online, I saved one trip to the store and two hours of time. Saving time and money is what internet bargain shopping is all about.
